How does Mosio handle opt-outs?
FollowWhen a participant replies STOP to a message, we update the user's status to "stopped" and we do not allow outbound texts to their mobile phone. If anyone on your team tries to send them any type of message (Storyline, TextChat, Appointment Reminder, etc) they will not receive the message.
If the user texts into your texting number again, their status is updated and we do allow texts to send to them. To keep things simple, if they text "stop" accidentally and want to be opted back in, they can simply text the word START (or start, it's not case sensitive).
The above functions are part of the mobile network requirements for opting in and out.
