Why is it one texting number / text line per project? Can we use a texting number for multiple projects?
FollowFor a number of reasons, including 10DLC registration restrictions and how two-way text messaging works, there is one texting number per Project in Mosio. Each project needs to have a unique texting number.
This is to ensure the best service and maximum deliverability for messages in your projects based on over 18 years in the text messaging and mobile industry.
You can use a single text line for multiple projects, but not concurrently. If you need a number moved from an old project to a new one, please submit a support request.
REDCap Users Note: Each Mosio Project also has a dedicated Mosio API key for REDCap. This is a functional requirement of REDCap. So if your study or project uses multiple REDCap Projects/Instruments, you'll need a Mosio Project, API Key and Texting Number for each.
10DLC Registration
Once you complete your simple Campaign Registration form on your new Mosio project, Mosio will register your 10DLC campaign for you.
