TextChat - Message Management: How to Star, Flag, Archive, and Delete Messages

1. TextChat Message Management Options

The numbered items in Image 1 correspond with the numbered list that follows the image. Refer back to this image if needed as you review the steps.

  1. TextChat: You can access any of the TextChat pages from this dropdown.
  2. Quick Links: You can access any of the TextChat pages from the Quick Links panel.

 

 

2. Starred Questions

The circled icon (star) in Image 2 corresponds with the numbered list that follows the image. Refer back to this image if needed as you review the steps.

  1. Starred Questions Icon: Clicking the "Star" icon brings you to the Starred Questions page. The conversation that was starred will be added to the Starred Questions page. You can remove the conversation from the Starred Questions page by clicking on the Star icon again.

 

 

3. Flagged Questions

The circled icon (flag) in Image 3 corresponds with the numbered list that follows the image. Refer back to this image if needed as you review the steps.

  1. Flagged Questions Icon: Clicking the "Flag" icon brings you to the Flagged Questions page. The conversation you "Flag" will be added to the Flagged Questions page. You can remove the conversation from the Flagged Questions page by clicking on the Flag icon again.

 

 

4. Archived Questions

The circled icon (folder) in Image 4 corresponds with the numbered list that follows the image. Refer back to this image if needed as you review the steps.

  1. Archived Questions Icon: Clicking the "Folder" icon brings you to the Archived Questions page. The conversation you archive will be removed from the TextChat page and will be added to the Archived Questions page. You can restore a conversation by clicking the arrow (screenshot_-_reverse_arrow.png) next to the "trash" icon. This will move the archived question back to the Textchat page.

 

 

5. Deleted Questions

The circled icon (trashcan) in Image 5 corresponds with the numbered list that follows the image. Refer back to this image if needed as you review the steps.

  1. Delete Questions Icon: Clicking the "Trashcan" icon will bring you to the Deleted Questions page. The conversation you delete will be removed from the TextChat page and will be added to the Deleted Questions page. Once on the Deleted Questions page, there is a button with an "X" that says "Remove Question," if you click on this, a toast message will appear: "Remove this question? You cannot undo this action." If you choose "Ok," then the conversation will be removed permanently. You can restore a conversation by clicking the arrow (screenshot_-_reverse_arrow.png) next to the archived folder icon. This will move the archived question back to the Textchat page.
