Can you switch plans in the middle of your current plan or do you have to wait for the license to end?

Yes! You can switch plans while in the middle of a plan. We'll pro-rate it based on the end of the current month and then revise billing based on what you'd like the new plan to be.

For example, if you are in month 3 of a 12 month Direct Plan and want to upgrade to Basic, we'll take the balance of what you have paid, subtract it from the amount owed for the Basic and invoice you for the balance of the year.

3 x $42 (Direct) = $126

$1,188 (Basic) - $126 (already paid/used) 
= $1,062 will be invoiced for the balance of your plan.
