Why am I getting an error when I try to pay online?
FollowWe've been hearing that some get an error message when they click on the Review and Pay button in email.
If you receive this error or something like it, it's likely due to your organization's attempts to prevent spam, etc through the use of link protection. Keep scrolling for the fix...
Two Fixes
1. Forward the invoice email to a personal email address and clicking the link there.
2. The other option is to copy the Review and Pay link and then remove the first part of the URL (which will be very long), usually it will have something like:
"https://urldefense.com/v3/__"
at the beginning of what was the intended payment link, which will look like:
https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://links.notification/intuit.com/XXXXXX
Remove the text before the second "http" then copy and paste it.
3. The 3rd fix is to have your IT department whitelist domains where you can safely make payments, but we realize that's a much bigger ask, so these first two should get the job done.
