FollowThere's a lot of information here, but if you'd like to jump right in, this video covers how to do three things:

- Creating AutoResponders
Transcript:
Hello and welcome to Mosio. We're gonna get the project settings out of the way and then we can get on to the other things like storylines, surveys, building out text chat functions, and things like that. So everything to start is here in the tools drop down. We're going to talk about project settings, using user accounts, and then we'll skip to autoresponders.
There's a lot that you can do to get yourself set up, so just start simply and you'll be good. Now starting with your project settings. In your project settings, you can change the project name, you can choose to show or hide phone numbers when they come in. You can show phone number and notification emails, and you can actually redact incoming messages.
Now if you redact incoming messages, that means everything. So if your project requires that you don't see anything incoming, you'll want to have that to yes, but there's warnings here as well. And then enable tech chat notifications. Expire passwords.
So there's a lot of different functions here, but first for to make this quick for you, there's a couple things that take you want to do first. Set your time zone. And if you have you want to have call forwarding, there is a charge. There are message credits that are charged for every message.
If people call your texting number, you can actually forward it to an office phone. The other things here are text for instructions. What happens when someone texts start to your virtual number. The SMS footer.
We don't we don't advise actually putting anything here. It is useful for some projects. But you can have something that goes out for every uh at the end of every text. And then there's a help keyword functions and stop keyword functions.
So when someone texts help, then you can uh edit what's what comes back with them and stop when they text stop. your project settings. Next up in your tools, we're going to go to user accounts. So next you're going to want to invite other associates.
Here you will uh in the drop down, you'll click on uh user accounts and it will take you here. And this is where you add new users. So you can either add existing users on your other projects to an existing project associated with your account or you can add new users altogether. Basically click add new user, have their email address, whatever username they have, what type they are and on our knowledge base there are different, there's an explanation of the different types and what they can do.
And then you can add a note to the welcome email which is optional. Click create users and they'll get emails. We always advise that you just tell them, hey, be on the lookout. Uhm, some, some organizations uh are higher with spam, but it's not usually a problem.
It's just good to know that uh you give them a heads up that something's going to be coming to them and then they can log into their system. And then finally, in this tools dropdown, we're going to go to autoresponders. Now autoresponders are actually a function of text. And the reason we have people set those up first is that if you're using text chat, if you're using that back and forth communication with people, then you'll want to set up an autoresponder based on that.
In fact, what you can do is, this is just 24-7. It says your message. But you can get really specific. You can, Monday through Friday, 9-5, say, Hi, we're here in the office and we got your message.
We'll get back to you as soon as possible. And then when you're closed, say, we're not here. Um, we will get back to you as soon as possible. you can just start with this very simple way of doing it, but you can have this elegant autoresponder setup.
Also, holiday autoresponders, which I started, I got so excited about it, I just started to tell you that first. Once you have these autoresponders set up, a holiday comes up, you just choose the start date and the end date, and you're typing in your autoresponder. Hi, we're closed for the holidays. We'll be back, you know, on this particular date, and it will take priority over these, and then it will reset them to this after that particular holiday.
So, these are, there's other settings that you can do here. Uhm, we, and check these out if you'd like, but for, to get you started, setting up these project settings, getting other people invited to your account, and then setting up autoresponders. Answer templates are, are useful if you are using text chat. So, if you are using text chat, then you can set up all the things that I mentioned.
If you're not, using text chat, then you can have an autoresponder that says, hi, this isn't an open line of communication, please call us, email us, whatever you want that call to action to be for that individual, uh, to reach out to you. Those autoresponders can send them in another direction. That's it for now. Hope everything goes If you have any questions, you can check our knowledge base or send us a support ticket.
Thanks so much.
