SMS Text Messaging Help
FollowWhy am I receiving text messages?
You are receiving text messages because you enrolled in a study or program at a healthcare institution that uses Mosio's text messaging platform. During enrollment, you signed an Informed Consent Form authorizing SMS communications such as appointment reminders, survey links, and study-related messages.
How do I stop receiving messages?
Reply STOP to any message you have received. You will get a confirmation and will no longer receive texts from that program. You can also contact your study site directly and ask them to remove you from the messaging service.
How do I start receiving messages again?
If you previously opted out by replying STOP, you can reply START to resubscribe. You may also contact your study site to be re-enrolled.
Who is sending me these messages?
Messages are sent on behalf of the healthcare institution or research organization where you are enrolled. Mosio, Inc. provides the text messaging platform, but your study site controls when and what messages are sent. The name of your institution appears at the beginning of each message.
Will I be charged for these messages?
Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier and plan. Mosio does not charge you directly for receiving messages. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your text messaging plan.
How often will I receive messages?
Message frequency varies depending on your study or program. The expected frequency was described in the Informed Consent Form you signed at enrollment.
Is my information private?
Yes. Mosio is HIPAA-compliant. Your phone number and message content are not shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
