TextChat – Setting up the START Keyword

Customize the response participants receive when they text “START” to your number.

Okay. So setting up the start keyword is what we call text for instructions or TFI. To get there, you click on Microboard settings, and then you'll see text for instructions here at the bottom. So when users text your keyword or start, actually, when they text start to your virtual number, they'll get this response. So standard, it just says success, reply with this text or question. But you can actually add anything you want. You can add a link for someone to take a survey or a link to other information.

Anything that you want to add here will be sent back to them with start. In some cases, you may actually have them respond with the keyword survey to take a survey.

But suffice to say that this is that this is where you can customize this and you have a hundred and sixty characters to be able to do that.
